Looking for something fun to do this family day weekend? Check out Thomas the Tank Engine at Children’s Museum in Gatineau.
If you haven’t been to the Children’s Museum it’s well worth the trip. Located at the History Museum (formally the Museum of Civilization) when you pay for admission to the History Museum you get admission to the Children’s Museum for Free! If you enjoyed your visit and you plan on going again I would highly recommend getting a membership (it pays for itself on the third visit).
We haven’t been back to the Children’s Museum in a while, honestly out of laziness. I love the walk over to Gatineau in the summer (the museums only a 15 minute walk from the Market) but in the winter we seem to stay closer to home. But not this weekend because Thomas is here!
We are all really excited about seeing the Thomas Exhibit. My toddler who is Thomas crazy is going to go out of his mind when he see’s all the Sodor related activities. This exhibit is a traveling exhibit developed by a museum in the states. It combines the fun of trains with lots of learning and play!
So if your looking for something fun to do this icy cold family day weekend consider one of the many museums around town. We will be at the Children’s Museum I hope to see you there.
